nothing new to report on the race truck I have been trying to finish up the paint job on my brothers 32 plymouth sedan and helping Jon on his 40 project.
then I need to get back on to the roadster pu(for sale car)
and then back to the race truck, man I hope I can race in 2012...
I have decided to get a straight axle for the front and build it more like a GASSER from the early 60's
so much for the mustang II frontend I already did

something like this

I just saw that Stevie's Speed Shop car yesterday at the car gathering. He always brings it to Covina every other Thursday or so. He has a really cool ride.

Some of the Gasser groups won't let you run those wheels. Too new. Might want to check.

If you find some 14 wide please let me know. The widest I've been able to track down are 10".

Thanks Mark! I can probably make those work. Any idea how "sand cast" differs from "as cast"?

They are located about 1/2 hour drive from me. I might have to take a trip over there.

the et "altered" wheels are similar to the "fuler" wheels and are listed in 15x14 & 15x16. the "as cast" wheel is without polish. i'm pretty sure that is what i want for the rear of my humpback.
