Looking for 69 RR 383, #9G298076

The build date is 5-13 HP2 . It was hard to read in the garage which isn't very well lit, but the vehicle order number looks like 8b38042 . I am not sure about the 8B as they could be B8 or ?, but I am sure about the 38042! If you can prove it's your original motor, let's get it back into the car. Appears to have been rebuilt prior to me buying the car. It came in a 70 'Cuda that I got out of the Northern Illinois/Chicago area. pstewart7@att.net

I friend of mine just bought an original unrestored '68 Hemi Road Runner (LL1 with silver interior and non-console 4-speed), but is missing the original motor.
The car is too "believed" to be a California car of which it was last registered in Washington State.
VIN: RM21J8G138199

The VON which will probably be on the block is 160016, so the stamp may look like:

Ex Ramcharger's Racer Dean Nicopolis who has since left us in Mopar Heaven had this Block. It is either a 9 or a 0. Looks more like a nine to me. 60 Over . Cast date#10-7-68.Very nice shape. Selling for the estate. Lots of Rare Hemi parts also.

This car was in Orange County Ca back in early 80's. Sublime Superbird. Original owner spun a bearing and pulled the engine. Listed the car in the recycler and decided to keep the motor to put in his other car. The guy who bought it off him didnt care as he had a bunch of 440's. I imagine the block is still out there in Ca. Car is now in Mich. 734 652 8537.

I have a complete 1970 440-6 that I think came in a 4 speed car because it came with correct flywheel. Air cleaner has the ribbed sheild on front. Was last in a car around 1980 in N.Georgia. The block is stamped 0B440370

A buddy of mine has 18 spline hemi 4-spd with VIN 8B360760. Has an A-body tailshaft. Not for sale, but will swap for same if the VIN matches your car.

I.D. pad reads 1B303353! Anyone know/guess what the VIN is close to? If so, PM me, I'll add possibles to this for searching purposes!
