hi, i saw the kids with the 71 super bee and thought it was a cool project so i decided to post my deal. im only 15 now but here is my 76 duster. it was an original california car brought to ct a couple yrs back. it has minimal rust. so far i've had the car for about a yr just sitting but i've gotton a job and have collected quite a few parts. its just about going under way so i'll update as it goes. its going to be a street/strip car that will be a daily driver to hs and all. i also have a fiberglass six pack and a 8.8 rear end. the new motor going in is a stock 5.2 magnum with a single nos plate. the car is going to be red with white stripes/black interior/six pack hood decal in white. hopefully all on a budget i can afford..lol
heres some pics of parts.

and a slideshow of the car and new motor

What kind of wheels are those? They look good. And I LOVE the horn button on the Grant wheel!

That's a nice looking car, and quite a stock o' parts. My first car was a '70 Duster, and I still own. Have fun!

Looks great! Love the horn button. I'm 16 and I have a few Mopars including a '73 Duster. Would you mind registering the Duster with my registry?

well i have this week off from school and today i didn't have to go to work so i got some stuff done. i had these doors sitting behind the shed and took them out..they are very clean with virtually not much rust. also took a pic of my seats and checked how the wheel will look on the car.

It is always good to see another Duster being restored. It motivates me to get back in the garage on mine. Keep the pics/motivation coming. What are the seats out of. The tracks look kinda tall, like something out of a van or truck.

also goat seats are from an astro van but they are pretty close to a regular a-body seat once those tracks are changed.

Oh No! You filled in the "Duster Dent" Looks ok filled in, even better if you are splitting hairs but that one is factory and supposed to be there on both sides of the car.

Car is looking great! Neat project!
