Are the spacers in the attached photo used with 70 B body 440 4 speed rear trans mount? I think not..... but am uncertain. My thought is these spacers were used with the E body style rear trans mount. Photos would be awesome. The 70 parts book does not seem to call out the spacers for any application.

Joe,70 B-body 4 speed and automatic use the same tranny mount. My 70 Charger R/T auto uses those spacers so I don't see why the 4 speed wouldn't.I was told they are used to spread the load out across the entire ear of the mount.

Actually if you read in the 70 Service manual, the spacers are used to correct driveshaft - pinion angle. BUT, were these in between the trans and mount, or were they between the bolt head and the trans. mount to spread the load over the mount surface? All the spacers that I have taken out from between the trans. mount were a one piece spacer with two holes in it. I do not recall seeing two spacers like that. Not saying there never were any like that.

However, other Ebay ads list them as 70 B. The 70 B has a completely different rear mount than 70-74 E & 71-74 B. I would really like to see some survivor photos or other documentation.

Thanks John! Hoping someone else will chime in with similar supporting info.
