Thanks Zippy. I won't look as proper as an old block but it's mo better than those ones with the core plugs in the front.

Did you see the do not exceed 4.34 bore sticker? Yes, it must be a non-siamese block. Not sure that I will use it but I don't want to have to go looking for one if I need one.

Yes...internal MP lingo was "water block" for non-siamese. I thought everyone called them that...wrong.... Hope it's a good one for you!

I'm hoping that it's a little lighter than the later blocks but if I remember right these are very heavy too.

You might enjoy hearing about the iron hemi heads with no pushrod holes in them, which were catalogued as stock replacement heads and yet were nowhere near being suitable for such an application That was the only iron head available for years, and I heard only one complaint....from a guy building a street engine. There have been times when the catalog was deliberately incorrect and was not telling the whole story. They did all kinds of stuff like that for super stock where they could. Racers have changed lifter locations for quite awhile.

If the pictures on the listing are the block that got sold it is a Siamese megablock. You can see Mopar cast above the 2468330. The water blocks didn’t have the mopar casting. Mike

There was an entire run of those blocks not worth having. I heard about the nightmare batch, and what a disaster. I believe they had the wrong bore spacing! By now I would hope all those were scrapped..... Hopefully this one isn't one of those

The block got here. The box didn't. I don't guess it matters. It doesn't appear to be the part number on the box. This is 4.19 siamese with no lifters. I will sonic check this weekend. It weighed 296 lbs at 4.19 with no lifters.
