I did a search here and didn't see an answer to this so am posting it. Were there any factory '65 Dodge or Plymouth street wedge or max wedge cars with cross ram intakes on them. I keep seeing them for sale but all the research I do says such cars were only available '62-'64. From what I can determine '65 street wedge engines could be had with dual quads but the intakes mounted the carbs inline and not staggered cross ram style.

The last factory produced M.W. cars where made by the end of April 1964, I was trying to order a new 415 HP Dodge 330 sedan 4 speed car and was told by a new car salesman for Royal Chrysler Plymouth in SO CA that the factory had stop taking orders for all the M.W motors in cars in the beginning of March of that year whiney
He told me that they where making 426 Hemi Crossram cars but with no warranty and you needed to know someone high up in the race car program at the factory to be able to order one, he couldn't do it shruggy
I've never heard of any factory produce 1964 or 1965 426 Street Wedge with multiple carbs either down tsk
More hocus pocus from those that lie and cheat trying to scam people IMO runaway twocents

Thank you I thought as much. IMO the '65 Plymouths people have done up with
cross rams and scoops look neat but I don't care for the '65 Dodge body as much as I do the Plymouth. I have not seen where people who have done the '65 cars as cross rams have represented them as being factory cars.

The simple answer is "No", but a Max Wedge intake is an easy bolt on to any 413/426/440 engine so there are gobs of them out there on various year Mopars that they were never available on from the factory.

No Max Wedge cars in 65 at all. But I do notice many NSS groups let 65 Mopars run with Max Wedge type engines so that may confuse people. Course the only crossram Mopars built in 65 were the Hemi's. Ron

Didn't Cab go to lunch with the Dodge brothers back in the day?
