Pump hides behind the bracket......B.G. 240 HR. I wouldn't worry a ton about a vibration mount......you can use one , but it is sort of over kill I think. Might quiet the pump some , but that is about it. Thank you tubtar! I was thinking of putting it up in front of the tank - is that not a good idea? Car will be on the street also, so is it a good idea to hang down in back?

When I put the pump on my Valiant I tried putting it in front since I used the stock pickup. I really couldn't find anywhere that wouldn't interfere with the shocks, exhausr or rear end. I ended up putting it under the back of the car mounted to the panel the bumper mounted to. It tucked up high enough you really couldn't see it, and it never got hit by anything.
My '68 has it on the frame rail over the right side of the rear end, but it is a ladder bar with no exhaust.

These pumps prefer to push the fuel , so the shorter distance they have to draw , the better they work You get the surge from acceleration pushing fuel toward the pump so it will never starve as long as the pick up sees fuel. A diaphragm style pump draws fuel better than these do , but I have yet to see one with a capacity anywhere near what I wanted. It really doesn't hang down that far because I took a hole saw to the trunk floor.......the top of the pump and the wires are inside the trunk and if you stood it on the bumper , it still wouldn't hit the ground.

E body but the principles the same. If you can, make the pump level with or lower than the pick up point. Pump bracket is bolted to the rear rail, isolated with 1/4" rubber sheet.

I have to hide my pump, so I made a bracket that hangs down from the upper shock studs. Places the pump even with the bottom of the tank and between the tank and the rear end right next to the round bulge in the 8 3/4” housing. I use the original fuel sending unit. Also mounted up near the top of the bracket a canton filter housing.

Do I run braided line the whole way up to the front? You could but on a street car it's probably not ideal if you use the woven type, flying road debris would be more of a concern than hard line. In any event, the pic below is on my Duster street car using a Hot Rod City Garage aluminum tank. I had them weld threaded bungs on for line clamps, worked out great. The flex hose connects to hard lines on the RR frame rail which goes through the trans cross member to the engine bay. Hose is Russell Twist Lok. After a lot of hemming and hawing, I decided against using an electric pump because on an A body it's almost impossible to mount it so the pump inlet/outlet is below the lowest point of the tank. Take that for what it's worth though there are plenty of EFPs out there mounted other than as directed by the almighty Holley and working just fine for thousands of years.

If so mount it back as far as possible and try to get the inlet fitting even with the bottom of your sump I mounted my Maganfuel 275 and 300 electric pumps(I ran one at a time) on the inside of the passenger side rear subframe and ran 1/2 aluminum line up to the front of the K frame so I could mount the fuel regulator in front of the carbs. so it had high pressure up to the regulator and lower pressure to the carbs.(six pack)

On my mid 10 sec Duster street car I had an Aeromotive hot rod pump mounted to the passenger side frame rail right in front of the rear tire, and I used a Holley return style regulator up front.
I used a rubber pad between the pump and frame rail, made a big difference with pump noise and vibration. The return style regulator made it run cooler and quieter. Black nylon braided line on the whole car, looked and worked great.
Now my new car, a 70 Challenger, has a custom stainless fuel tank with an internal elec fuel pump, super clean and easy setup.
