Getting my carbs redone and I'll need a new air filter. Any suggestions on where to pick one up? I see them on ebay but wonder if there is a better place. Thanks

You might find a NOS one for $300 to $400

I just run the K&N on my sixpack car. Cleanable/re-useable & been on the car for over 20+ years & was only like $45.00 at that time.

The K&Ns are up to $90 now. And this is such a visible piece I figured it was worth the extra $30. And I got 10 years out of the last one. So all good. thx

Yep, been running a K&N filter for a long time now. Worth every penny.

Does that have to be oiled? If so, with what?

I have 2 original ones in storage i've collected over the years but I use a K&N filter as the filter really isn't that visible with the stock air cleaner.

Put the K&N in for daily use and spend the bigger money on an original orange filter either NOS or repop and save it for the car shows when you get there. The cleaning kits are for sale any place I bought two K&N cleaning oiling kits this fall at Summit.

The filter is much more visible on the 340 6 pack setup.
