Anybody ever use these tire holders for long term/winter storage? If so, do they work good as far as, tires NOT going flat?

I put my ride up on jackstands. Starting at $189 buys a lot of jack stands and I don't have mice issues doing that. more of a hassle but it works

Yup, $189 is really pricey, when as you stated, jackstands are waaay cheaper, though more of a hassle to do, when storing a vehicle. Just
wondered if anyone used these for their car, as opposed to stands.

The cars that run I start & run over the winter, great time to rotate the tires without removing them.

The non-runners I put in neutral & move by hand every so often.

My longer term projects get 'roller' tires that hold air but I would never drive on them.

Looks to me like they would just give you a longer curved flat spot.

how long are you talking about.
are we talking modern tires or bias ply?

modern tires, I have had let sit 6 months at a time with no issues. and that was nearly 30 years ago.
guys do it for deployment all the time with no flat spots. we just park it in the parking lot and go.

I always put my cars up on jack stands but did buy a set this year to try as one of my cars is very close to the garage wall so jacking it up safely was an issue. I will find out if they worked on in a few months. I run bias ply tires on my cars so flat spots are an issue.

I don't put mine up. I have a heater, and I drive it every season. Living in Southside Virginia, so we get "some" good weather during the winter months.

I've tried ALL the above mentioned methods and I've come to a solution.

Let them get flat spots. They will go back to round within 10 kilometers of driving in the spring.

I agree. No need to go overboard. Cars are meant to have the suspension loaded continuously, and tires are meant to set on flat surfaces.

x3. I used to do several things but, in more recent years, I just drive it down the road and it's good. Worst case scenario, you have to drive it 10 or so miles; I've had to do that once. Most times a few streets over and the spots are worked out.
