Our school project is to the point where we need to get serious about a transmission. We have two choices and I believe they are both good ones, but we could use a little help in deciding which one would be the best for our application.
Money wise both of the transmissions are about the same, and the car will be 99% street and a little strip. 68 Charger, Hellcat engine that was pieced together from parts. Drag radials, roll cage, etc.
Thanks for voting, and if you have any advice to add we are all ears.

99% street, I would want a trans with OD. I daily drive a car with a th400 in summer, it's getting yanked for a t56 soon as I find the right deal.

I vote non-Hellcat TR6060 or a Magnum. Hellcat TR6060 got a garbage 2.26 first gear. You'll probably find that by the time you go through a used TR6060, replacing the wear items, and converting it to a Magnum rear case you're close to the price of just buying a Magnum in the first place.
