Well the registration for the Hot Rod Power Tour opened up last week.

I'm running the MoPowered Tour as always. I've got a few things lined up for the group. Should be a pretty good time with some beautiful scenery.

I've already posted on the groups website and facebook page about the hotels a few of the guys are staying at.

Here is the official Power Tour website, with all info and official registration.

My son and I are planning on doing the Long Haul in his (yet to be road worthy) ‘66 Baracuda. We are working on the car but that is about as far as we have gotten with no real work on the details. Hope to join in.

Sweet, you'll love it. Just make sure the car has a great cooling system for sitting in line to get in.

Never been on one, but seriously considering one this year. Can I go only as far as Bristol? I don't want to get to far from home on my first. My old 48 DeSoto has been very dependable, but I probably have 60000 miles on the old 1st Gen 392.

Yup, you can do only a day, or a few days. They have day passes on the Hot Rod site. Or you can meetup with us for free at any point.

With the location this year I’d like to go, but I don’t want to take my kid out of school.

One day I'd like to do it, but it's got to come a lot closer to the West Coast.

We are all signed up for the long haul. I have a question- what time is the ceremony usually over on the last day?
Also, we were able to get reservations for a couple of hotels with the Mopowered group.

That's surprising, usually with it being the 2nd week kids are out by then.

Can't wait to see you again Lt. Dan, safe travels until then.

Yeah it is never coming to the West Coast. Closest it will ever get is Texas.

The signs are usually started to be given away around 5pm on that final Friday.

I wasn't impressed with Madison in 2015. If it comes close I might check it out again but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
