This was the very short listing of the one day or weekend sale less then a month ago at 145k (or right near that) and no mention of its prior history. Same pics on web ad.

Investment grade car aid the seller.

Another great mopar with the Govier name put in the mix.

"Decode sheet available from Govier." What the fudge does this mean?
At face value, it says, "You can have GG decode the tag if you choose." haha

Maybe Wile E. fially caught the bird, LOL,

Are you saying that is the same car ?? IF so I'd be guessing some vin / body stamping #'s were swapped.

Well, it's the same VIN. We report, you decide.

Same VIN.

Different car.

Great one to set to 'avoid'.

The VIN swappers hope beyond hope that no one will know the real history before it sells to an uninformed buyer.

Whomever wrote that add was VERY careful / slippery with the wording.

Correct V code 440 with 6 pack (which says nothing)

Rebuilt / restored title out of Utah (translation: Salvage title)

So the burn car was bought simply for the title and tags?

I would think the dash tag would toasted beyond recognition

I believe repop dash tags were available at one time, Not saying they were legal, just available,

And then there is the careful wording
Rebuilt / restored title out of Utah (translation: Salvage title)
That could also mean a state issued VIN ??

Or as mentioned above, maybe the tag survived, doubtful though with that kind of heat but shruggy

The real question is wether or not the bird is real, and if so.........WHY the need to re-tag it from another bird's docs? Even a 440-4 Bird stands on its own desireability wise.

Is the car stolen, or was a bird created from a few remaining parts?

Id think his one day sale at 145k with no mention of its past is probably a good indicator the he dont give a ____.

Aren't the vin tags made of stainless?]

I have the burned T/A (now restored) and the dash tag lost its paint but made it through the fire without issue. It is restored and back on the car. I can post a before picture.

In response to Jeff 968’s TA.

Wow! Did you do the resto or buy it done? Good you could save a TA. Must be a daunting task to bring a fire care back to life!

Post a picture of it in its restored state too. Love those cars!
