Best value these days for a stroker engine would be Trick Flow 240 heads. You could also look at ported Stealth or Edelbrock heads but typically they'll end up costing more than the Trick Flow heads by the time you're done with them. You could also go with out of the box Stealth or Edelbrock heads but you'll give up some power over the Trick Flow heads.

Are the trick flow 240 good out of the box parts wise like springs and retainers and valves.

Then, I guess the first question is....... will angle plug heads work with his headers or not?

If that’s a “no”, then the choices are far fewer, and really just variations on a theme.

-MP “452”

-Straight plug Speedmaster

-Stealth

I know my TTI 2" headers actually seem to have more room around the plugs with my angled plugs on my EZ heads then if they were straight plugs. I am very happy with the standard EZ heads I went with on my mild street combo. I got them from Dwayne and he just opened them up tp Max Wedge size on the intakes and cleaned them up. Course there was no Trick Flow heads when I put mine together in 2011. I don't know if the EZ heads are cheaper then the Trick Flows or if they flow as good as the Trick Flows but I believe Trick Flows are the only ones that come already CNC ported ? You can sorta tell in this pic if my plugs were straight they would be closer to the header tubes. Ron

Double checking the headers is the first thing to do. I've had a couple different sets of TTI headers on my car and both sets worked much better with angled plugs than straight plugs but that isn't true for all headers. Old school headers designed before angled plugs became popular won't work. So the OP will have to figure that out and and get back to us.

I've ran both the 440 source heads (non CNC) and now the Trick Flow 240s in a 75 Duster. Had 2" TTI on the 440 source heads and now went to 1 3/4" TTI with the Trick Flows. No issues with plugs with either setup.
