the guy is a great artist with a great eye and detail in his work. So yes, I like the show and his work.

Is that the show with the Falcon Gasser? I watched the beginning where it was dragged onto the flatbed, then picked apart verbally in the shop, (something about wood paneling), then the sand removal, then all of the factory parts dropped onto the floor and trashed (god forbid any of the parts be offered to anyone fixing a Falcon needing factory parts). I couldn't stand it anymore and changed the channel to a show about the Titanic that I had already seen.
The build threads on here are much more educating and interesting. Some really talented people with pretty cool ideas.

I also don't foresee me having cable or anything other then antenna TV in the foreseeable future. Same here. Also don't like seeing things tossed aside if some one can use it. My rides are ratty enough for me.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

The first (and only) episode I've seen is the Falcon one, and even then just the last 20 minutes or so. One thing I didn't get was the injection system. The car was supposed to have the 'look' of an old gasser and the stacks provide it, but don't they have conversions now that give you the 'look' but with electronic controls? If it was truly built for occasional street use, wouldn't this be better than mechanical injection?

I only watch it if there is nothing else on and I don't have to wash the cat! It is a made for TV show that has little to do with reality, like the guy that supposedly brought his cattle trailer to be fixed full of cows that somehow got lose. BUT to each their own, if it turns your crank, enjoy.........I just wish i could do what they do in twenty minutes instead what takes me two weeks, .... guess I'm just old and slow.

I watch it. I watch all of these car shows on t.v. The Rat Rod style is not my style but I do appreciated the amount of fabrication & thought that goes into some of the builds. My favorite thing they do is how they shread the hood open for the blower to poke thru. That is pretty cool. I do like his 57' Chevy turbo shop car, except for the goofy glory hole in the fenders.

I have motor trend on demand it has all those shows on it. That vegas show is cool- they do some nice fabrication. I just watched an episode where they started chopping a model A and made the ugliest flathead harley chopper ever. The aesthetics are not for everybody and the engineering explanations are pretty cheesy and non informational l but I wish them success with their show and shop.

Twiggy is kinda hot. Some of the guys in the shop have serious skill. Most of the finished stuff isn't anything I'd pay anything for. At least the head monkey is about 1/10 as annoying as that GYC clown.
