My '74 Charger was built on 6/26/74. Looks like that was a Wednesday. Does anyone know the final production date for that model year? I would think that if June 26 wasn't the final date, it was awfully close to it.

Thanks in advance!

1974 B-body production went about another month

is 626 your car's SPD from the fender tag or the actual build date off the door sticker?

the highest VIN Lynch Rd. '74 Charger I know of is WP29G4A291709

626 is on the fender tag. I will check the door decal and VIN when I get home from work and report back. I didn't realize that the build date was on the door decal; I thought it was only on the fender tag. Good to know! Thanks!

The MDH code(month/day/hour) showed up late in 72 production.

The date on the tags is the scheduled production date, the day they hoped to build the car when the order was first entered into the system.

It may have been built earlier or later, sometimes by over a month.

MDH is 062614, so that's right on the money. Does the "14" in that sequence mean 2:00?

Vin sequence starts with 26000, so they must have produced another 3000 cars or so since mine was built?

1974 St. Louis VINs went at least as high as the 293xxx range.

But, the cars were not built in VIN order..........
