OK guys got the cuda up and running really good with a minor snag. Have adjusted the carb using a vacuum gauge, set the timing but when I rev the engine to 2000 rpm's I get an occasional loud backfire out the tali pipe on the passanger side when I take my hand off the linkage. There is a black puff of smoke with the backfire. I am guessing fuel and am not sure but seems I may have an occasional miss on that side. New spark plugs and Taylor wires.

usually fouled plug... or possibly incorrect plug wire routing/firing order... make sure the wires are seperated! and correctly placed first dan
