Anyone on here use an AED carb? I'd like to hear how it works for you, if you got a custom build or one of the basic HO or HO modified.

I have 4 of there carbs run good. customer service was great. the owner john actually gave me his personnel cell # because he was going on vacation and told me to call him while I was at the track and he would help me. and yes he answered and helped me out on a couple issues I was having.

Have been running one of their meth carbs for two seasons. No issues at all. Told them my set up my goals, and they sent it along. Even though John is retired he will get on the phone with you or answer an email quicker than most.

Just put one of their 750 HPs on a few months ago works great, had to go up in primary shooter size a little but then it was perfect,. It was built for my combo, I have had several over the years all have been good.

I put 1000 HO on my Roadrunner last fall. Out of the box it was very close on AFR and works better than the 4781 I've run for years. Very satisfied with it. twocents

Just last week I fired my new motor with a pair of custom AED's on it. No lm1 on it yet. But throttle response is crazy, idle circut seems good, and wfo is all there. When I started up for the first time and it idled like it was running all day.

Hot340, that Hemi looks great.
I bought a car that needs finished, it has a Hemi in it with a custom AED Dominator that was bought years ago but car had never been driven. When I got the motor fired up it didn't run right and would not idle under 1400 RPM's.
I sent it to AED, they went through it and tested it on their engine test stand, they found the problem, fixed it, and mailed it back to me all for free. Runs great now, I'd definitely do business with them again.

Very happy with the basic AED 850 HO I bought off a Moparts member over 14yrs ago. Came with a build sheet, and it has been a very reliable carb over the years.
