Hello -

Bulbs were out of my car when I got it, so not sure what the correct bulb size would be for the "dome" bulb in the lower side panels on an a-body convertible. These are the ones inside the glass domes at the carpet level.

In the owners manual is this a 'Dome "C" Pillar lamp' #1004 or is it a 'Door and/or Pocket' #90? I am guessing the 1004.

Both bulbs have the same base, just different wattage and glass size.

Thanks.

I put 90's in my 70 b-body convertible & they work just fine.... "seem" a little small for the socket, but work perfectly.

70 Roadrunner convt. street car 440+6, NOS, 4-spd, SS springs '96 Mustang GT convt. street car '04 4.6 SOHC, NOS, auto, lowered "Officer, that button is for short on-ramps"

I think the #90 is correct. That # stands out to me since I searched and searched for some LED replacements for those and couldn't find any that fit inside that glass dome. All of them I found are too tall. I'm thinking about making a spacer so I can get some LEDs to fit.
