I went with the the fairbanks shift kit and the spring they provide for the reverse low servo is too big to fit the billet A&A servo. The strange thing about it is the the 3 coil spring does feels stiffer than the 6 coil spring provided in the fairbanks kit.
Is stiffer better? I'm going for the full manual set up.
Or should i find a replacement spring?

Stiffer spring makes the rear band release quicker on the 1-2 upshift if you have LBA.

I use the stock spring and servo and have no issues with the 1-2 shift. You do, you just don't notice it.

We put an A & A reverse manual valve body in my sons Dart and used the A & A rear servo piston and spring. He recommended we use it as its a low band apply valve body we put in my boys Dart. We cant notice any different in the 1-2 shift and the car did not slow down any. And the old valve body was a no low band apply. Ron
