The best you can afford.
I think the starting point would be Harland Sharps.

For your deal deal Comp stainless might be a very good choice though up

I like and run the Comp alloy steel rockers with a .55" lift fast mechanical FT. It gets street driven and hammered on the road course. I think these would work well in your application with more strength and no fatigue issues... also should provide a little more lift and performance.

Yes run it by Dwayne (fast68plymouth). 1.6's may or may not benefit you. & there might not be enough gain to justify spending on this area & it might be better spent on another area/system (I always attack the weakest/needing change area/system. Keep an open mind.

I've got a good friend who builds a lot of big block mopars, he usually has three or more going at the same time, he sells these Comp rockers for street motors without fail.

I did freshen it twice and was able to reshim the first set of valve springs and replaced them on the third freshen when I replaced the Eddy RPM heads with a better bigger set of Indy SR M.W ports, same rocker arms up I never had to worry about them before I sold that car work shruggy
My latest bracket motor does have a set of steel Jesel paired shaft rocker arms on it and my next all out go fast motor will probably have a set of pair shaft T&D chrome moly rocker arm set up on it with near or over 900 Lbs. on the seats to keep the roller lifters on the cam lobes all the time, especially above 8000 RPM up
Don't buy the best price rocker arm set up ever tsk down you do get what you pay for on most decent race parts, but not on the cheap stuff though shock down

I know aluminum is supposed to have a finite work life but a late friend of mine had a set of Crane Gold rockers on a 440 he built in the 70's with a Crane SS305 cam in it. He put just over 200,000 miles on that car over 25+ years before he redid it with SR heads. I'm not sure but I think those rocker arms are still on it with a 535 lift Comp in it.

I have a set of RAS stainless 1.6 rockers, they are just about indestructible. But I do not think they are made any more. I bought these from Andy F. I believe they where on one of his dyno/magazine motors. Bad thing is my heads now have offset T and D, so the RAS rockers are on the shelf

Contact Mike at B3 racing engines and have him set you up with a set of rockers and his geometry correct kit at the same time and save yourself a huge hassle.

I've run unbushed alumni rockers with as high as 320 on the seat and 800 over the nose and never hurt one from spring pressure. A couple of lifter failures killed some though. But that's not an issue.

If you do get some wear in an aluminum rocker you can send them to RAS and get them bushed.

I rather like stainless steel rockers the best. Like I said, call Mike and see what he says. IIRC he is a dealer for PRW rockers and again, IIRC he likes the PRW stainless rockers.

I'm not a fan of needle bearings in a rocker arm.

EDIT: or see if mprhound above will sell you his RAS rockers. Those things were beautiful pieces. You will still need the B3 geometry correction kit though. In fact, you need that with ANY rocker you buy, and color and/or materiel doesn't matter.

Just because you think it won't make it true. Horsepower is KING. To dispute this is stupid. C. Alston

All good points here but let me ask a question. what are you trying to accomplish? If yo are not having a problem with your stock stuff with your mild build why spend that kind of money on something you will not see any gain.If you are looking for more performance maybe take the car to chassis dyno and see if you can get more from a tune,or look into see where you are lacking in set up and go from there. Just my 2cents.

For a car that is driven everywhere, I couldn't agree more!!

I have Comp ultras on my 505ci with over 15,000 miles on them with zero issues.

No one has asked the key question: What exactly do you mean by valvetrain? Everyone is assuming rocker arms, but we don't know if we are talking rockers or a complete upgrade from his purple shaft cam.

A roller valve train of some sort is the best. We don't even know if these are aluminum heads shruggy
