Getting ready to cut up a 85 Pace Arrow motor home with a 40 thousand mile smooth running q-jet 454/turbo 400. What is a fair asking price for the motor and trans?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it will be worth the effort. Truck 454s have "peanut port" heads and the trans may be a long tail 400. Even if free, after all the work, you may only be able to get $300-500 for it all and it may not sell quickly.

Maybe there will be some additional value in other stuff like the rear and so on.

Hope it works out for you.

It's inside a warehouse with a 40' rolloff dumpster sitting in one of the docks. Forklift is there as well. I've removed 440s from similar vehicles in the past. A sawzall makes life easier.

LOL

Thanks for all the replies guys!

extra long blades are handy too!

sounds like you got this planned well...

how long are the forks? thru both sides in one shot?

you could have some of fun and get a bit of cash....who doesnt like that...a win win!
