Dumb question, but I gotta know. There is a real clean 2013 one-owner swb, conventional cab on a lot near me.

So what is the difference between a Ram & a Ram R/T. Is it just badging and maybe interior upgrades? Different suspension? Any drive train differences?

Heard these swb R/T's are sort of hard to find.

Thanks,

Scott

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

My 2012 Ram R/T came with a 4:10. The full console is part of the package as well as most all the bells and whistles that you can get on a Ram. I even have adjustable pedals. I believe there are some differences in the front and rear bumpers and the grille. I enjoy the heck out of mine. Mine runs a high 14second 1/4 mile in stock trim weighing in at 5100lbs.

Sorry, guys. Forgot to say thanks for your replies.

Learned quite a bit about these trucks the last few days. Not a whole lot closer to buying the one near me even though they lowered the price $2K last week. Sure is a purty truck though.

The R/T's with the 65RFE trans had a high stall torque converter as well as 4.10's vs 3.92's and normal TC for non RT's. Once they went to the 8 spd the R/T's used the normal driveline. In good air they seem to be a low 14 truck

WO23, the paperwork sez it has the 4.10 gears. It also is a truck built for the Canada market that made its' way to the states. Supposedly one of 39 2013 Canada trucks. Woo hoo... boogie

Crazy thing is that if I do buy the truck, I'm putting it into the garage until spring. How much fun would that be. realcrazy
