Got a bud looking at a Sebring vert but it's got a 2.7 in it with 90k miles. What's the best way to handle this ? Engine swap ? ... maybe that newer 3.6 Pent motor ??

Buddy of mine put a 3.5 HO in an Intredpid. Wasn't too tough and made a decent running car when he was done.

What's wrong with a 2.7?
I'm driving one with 276k+ on it... runs like a top!

If the 2.7 is any good or not depends on the year,my 98 was among the junk years so I dropped in a 99 3.5.
Dropped right in,plugged right in didn’t even change the computer.

who is that guy?

2.7 to 3.5 swap is common in the LX cars. Basically plug and play I think.

I don't remember him having to do much electrically, just the power steering pump, y-pipe, and radiator. IIRC, when he got the radiator, it was actually the same as his old one. The y-pipe he had to extend.

I'll bet it's a bigger project in the sideways Sebring setup.
