I have a 68 Barracuda Formula S fastback, its a street/strip deal and I am not interested in originality but I am working on making the interior "niceish". The car does not have a headliner, I do have the bows and I actually have a new headliner that has never been installed(for 20 years). The car has a full roll cage but that doesn't seem like the problem as much as properly installing a headliner. My understanding is that the factory headliners are tucked under the windshield and back window, there is evidence on my car that supports that as well.

What are my options to get a headliner in my car, I am not against going away from the bow type either but I need something on the ceiling, tired of getting baked in the summer time. I really don't have any interest in getting the glass pulled just to install a headliner. TIA

It does go under the windshield and rear glass gaskets and gets hooked on little teeth that are just on the interior side of the pinch weld. I also believe they was spray adhesive there and I’m sure they use it in the sail panel area. You may be able to lift the rubber gasket flap and use bunch of clips to hold it down out of the way. Then slide the headliner under the gasket and use contact adhesive. Also IIRC ALL side window trim needs to come out. I coukd be wrong about that though. Going to be a pain.
