The new wildwood 5 port with adjustable valve built in part number 260-11179 I have a 69 B body Dual diaphragm power booster with 73 spindles and 11.75 rotors pin type calipers off 71 charger master cly from 73 b body 1 1/32 bore I believe. I had the 2 peace E body valve the distribution block with metering valve like doctor diff sells It did not come from him. The rear brakes are locking up in a panic stop. Its rear drum with 7/8th wheel cly. I just got 2 brake pressure gauges. I want to check the pressure at the front caliper and the rear line going to the rear brakes. I want to check them at regular pedal push then slam on the brakes test. Then put in the adjustable Valve and go drive in the rain and dial it IN.

I have that valve, but certainly not those exact brakes.

wow looks beautiful I think I am in love. Just wondering about front brake metering. Or do you just forget about it because you are dialing the rear pressure in. Thanks

I target trying to get the rear to lock just after the fronts to help keep the car from wanting to rotate. The rear bias should be set with on-road testing and I am not seeing the value of checking both front and rear pressures at the same time with a gauge. Rotor diameter, tire size and weight distribution under heavy braking [and other factors] all vary from car to car, caliper pressure is just a value at that point.

The front pressure is what the front pressure is, adjust the rear. You need an m/c bore adjustment if you cannot lockup the front.

I'm using an AL 1 1/32 bore AL cylinder I ordered from Rock for an 89 Gran Fury, and rear wheel cylinders are newer style. Corners of the breaking system at the moment are sadly stock with some EBC pads.

how are the EBC pads working over the stockers ? any difference in the dust produced ?

The EBC Reds are definitely an upgrade over regular semi-metalics. I still only get 5 big stops (60ish-0) before the brakes go away, but stop distance is improved according to my slightly scientific method of starting in the same spot and using the same landmark to jump on the brakes. I'd say 10-12 ft. on the 1st hard stop.

I use them in my brand X daily driver (01 Mustang Bullitt) with the 13" Cobra brakes on it. The EBC reds were a large improvement over the three sets of FoMoCo boxed carbon ceramic pads that preceded the EBC's. Full disclosure though, the factory Brembo rotors were turned 2x and I replaced all my rotors with EBC units with the pads.

Dust though, this might sound weird but I haven't ever really been concerned with it. Both cars have black wheels and the dust comes right off whenever I get around to detailing up the wheels. The stock Bullitt wheels with my snows on them are "Anthracite" in color, but no problems removing the dust from them. I really can't say I have observed anything related to dust, as I haven't paid attention.

I’m pretty happy with mine, helped clean up the engine compartment. I think I have 11/16” wheel cylinders, 11” drums with a 1 1/32” master on mine with Baer 14” rotors up front. The fronts lock before the rears without too much adjustment. It has good balance where I can run pretty deep into turn 1 at big willow with confidence.
