My Daytona clone has a fiberglass nose that was made back in the 80's -early 90's. Instead of the headlights popping up I have doors that are hinged on the bottom on a vacuum pod that fold down/back with the headlights mounted inside. The problem is at 60 mph the vacuum pods can't keep the doors from starting to fold down. Also if someone touches one of the doors at a car show the door drops down. I have resorted to wedging the doors shut with a piece of metal.

I would like to replace this half-assed setup with a pair of electronic actuators. I have looked on line, a lot of options to cipher thru. Has anyone here bought some actuators for a similar type of application??
Thank you
