yes, but ive put 11 passes on it so far, and all of them have been high gear only. The shifter has been banging twice right to high gear at the release of the T brake. Now its working properly again...im anxious to see how fast it really is. Got to be prepared to handle those nitrous smallblocks !

I'd chalk that one up to a good day. Unresolved issues keep me awake at night. Now you get to bask in the anticipation of a really fast pass for another week, instead of wondering what's wrong.

If the 'roll the beams' run is a declaration of success for the shifter I would drive to the closest track and maybe do at least a handful of launches to re-confirm shifter performance. Statistical count of one (1) run as mentioned above is not much to stand on for 'good' unless You've done follow-up hits/runs.

That's how I am too, the little mysterious problems can ruin your life for awhile lol, it's nice to get them resolved.

new gloves that are a little bulkier than the old ones I had , I have missed the transbrake button twice now because of the gloves. Im about to cut a hole in the thumb , or go back to my old tattered gloves so it doesn't happen anymore

Went back to the same track, used old gloves,

5.34
5.24
5.13
5.13

All on the lowest jetting of my NX plate, looks like plenty of potential for next season !
Now just need to find .3 to .5 in et and I can play in ultra street ....

At least the damn shifter works !

I wouldnt call it small, but its the lowest jetting on an NX billet crossbar plate. So i can add a lot more to it . Its ultranstreet so yes only one plate and its only one nitrous sol.
the only problem is , cecil county has some of the fastest ultra street in the country. Most cars are 4.99 4.70s. There is one regularly in the 4.60's. So even a low 5 sec car is out first roundm !

oh man, its been a struggle....lol

After getting the converter redone over the winter. Went in April and well......I kinda scraped the wall. Damage was minimal, neede two front tires. THANK GOD that I had redlit and the other car waited for the tree. I crossed from the left lane all the way over to the right wall....

Next race in May, still having problems with the shifter. Now that the converter is so tight it doesn't shift 1-2 any more , it goes right to third. So im going 5.20's @ 138 in just high gear.

Now I rewired the shifter the way I used to have it, It worked for a long time like that so hopefully it works again. I don't have the valve body to leave in 2nd so I used an electric shifter to shift 1-2 right at the release of the transbrake

.. sounds to me like you got a lot of good hits in front of you.. the way I see it anytime it's still running and it goes on the trailer is a good day.. I can't wait to see a time slip when you're in 90% on the plate

I love that car. Congratulations on the good hits
Our local heads up class that they are trying to get started at Keystone is jinxed. 2-3 scheduled programs, 2-3 rain outs. It’s not looking good for this weekends attempt either.
