My 2wd 1984 Truck, Non tilt, just a basic Steering Column.

When I use my passenger side turn signal, the turn signal lever won't engage, you have to hold it in place to make it blink, feels like something is stopping it from "clicking" into place.

Drivers side it works just fine.

Before I take this apart anyone have this before, know what I may be getting into?/

Thank you

Replace the turn signal switch. Very simple job. Most big parts stores will loan out a steering wheel puller set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7cz8LA9NKo

there are plastic fingers that break off that hold the lever in place

You might even get it off without a puller if you're lucky. I was able to just do mine without a puller. Remember to line the front wheels up straight and put the steering wheel back on straight.

Steering wheel and the shaft are marked so it is easy to put it back on correctly.

I didn't see any markings on my '79, and the wheel was off when I bought the truck. Maybe just gone with time? Sure makes sense they would be marked!

The local parts store dummies. Go online and look up the parts numbers on the parts stores site. Then it will be easier to get what you need.

I found a NOS one on ebay for $40 for my '79 Power Wagon. NOS Mopar will be so much better than any aftermarket and you might find one cheap enough. If you can just get the part number.

This could be what you need
