I have a friend that lost his life too soon, he drove for John Hennessy for many years before leaving us too soon. Check out John Kiewicz on google, he has many records and was the man...

Looks like they're barely skimming by. Is there a link to their go fund me page?

That is Brainerd International . Right in the heart of Minnesota lake country. Excellent traction, very safe place to race. The drag strip is a portion of the road course. If you lose your brakes, just down shift and coast to a stop!

That looks awesome! I didn't know they had that up at Brainerd. Way better that a home on a golf course.

Joel there’s another whole neighborhood somewhere in MN that are homes with large garages like that. They have a car show every year as a friend posts pictures from it. I’ve often wondered why there are not more retirement communities in Phoenix with some f these features.

When does the racing season start and stop at BIR?

I have seen similar facilities but not with drag strips.

I believe early May, until Early October. They have something going on almost every day. It really is a great track, and would be awesome to start Drag Week from there, but there really isn't other decent tracks within DW driving distance.

Yes, all the DW participants could have a cookout, while the track personnel tries to figure out how to run an event. The place has always been the best track, with the lamest programs. No thanks.

The Autobahn out by Joliet has the same thing, but only a road course and country club. RT 66 is not far away though.

Huh? DW is basically a day of time trials. Most are one and done, and on the road. It also takes place during the week, so no weekend program is really effected.

Sorry, couldn't tell you a thing about drag week. They might be able to be depended on for just time hits. Maybe. I've personally experienced otherwise. twocents
