I have a 1970 charger with an 8 3/4” and plan on upgrading to the moser 60 musclepak. The only measurement i dont know is the stud size (not sure what it means). What exactly does it mean and is there a certain measurement for b bodies or is it just custom/what you want? (The image wont post so heres the link, but its a screenshot of the site)

Id also like to know the difference between the normal moser dana 60 and the musclepak version. What are the benefits of the musclepak?

the 1/2-20 stud with the .685" knurl is what Mopar rears use, but it looks like you could choose any of those listed since you are having it built to spec. Ask Moser about that and the difference in the styles.

I put a set of these in my 8 3/4 yesterday

Lugs for 8 3/4

Thats what he said, but if im buying the dana musclepak(which comes with wilwood discs) would it need to be any different? If u look it says the two bottom ones are for disc brakes

If you plan on racing it, get either 1/2"-20 screw in studs or 5/8" screw in studs. Don't use a stock style knurled press-in stud.
5/8" studs are much stronger and easier to work with, but only work with certain types of wheels. For instance, if you run stock style steel wheels, you won't be able to use 5/8" studs.
If you have aftermarket wheels that use a shank style lugnut, you can use 5/8" studs.

Reason I went with the studs I did was because I put discs on my 8 3/4 and the stock length studs were about 1/4" too short, with stock type steel rims. But they were not Wilwood discs.

Would the fact that it comes with wilwood disc brakes affect the knurl vs screw in argument?

although the .685 knurl is the accepted size, i have ran into a .643 knurl on a couple of occasions. this created a bunch of head scratching trying to think of why the usual size replacements were too big by a bunch. the dummy i am, however, didn't record what i used in these applications, even the second time around ! spank

A body with 4" bolt pattern? 7/16" studs?
