Call Mike at Alkydiggers in Nashville--best around for injection and the like Or Spud Miller at FIE in the northwest US Fuel Injection Enterprises--other than that call Good Vibrations in Calif--or Mooneyham or Dyers

When alcohol boils off from a liquid to a gas it has a refrigerant effect. The more you go through to colder it gets, My hat was covered in frost after each pass yesterday Yep...it's the low pressure (actually NEGATIVE pressure / vacuum) that causes the alky to boil off and freeze stuff up. It's the exact same effect that causes "carburetor icing" under very specific conditions.

Isn’t this why you always see guys spraying the injectors when the top alcohol guys are running and staging at the track.

Yes it is...lol. I think you better get some help on your combo and tune up. I am sure it will save lot's of money and time if you have to ask this question. Haven't you ever noticed the injector doors being deiced before a run after the burnout? Hopefully you bought your fuel system from a reputable dealer that offers lot's of support for newbies. All newbies need lot's of support when they first get started. Otherwise you are destine to spend big bucks getting it figured out...if your good. Good luck
