I've heard a lot about Russ and his diaper business.. I recently met him at the track and decided he was going to build my new diaper. For the dry sump pan.. he worked with me on the phone I sent him a few pictures within a week I had a diaper that fit perfectly.. there are still good people out there thanks Russ

As long as all the shiny parts stay where they're supposed to the diaper should last a very long time.... and I don't seem to be stressing parts like I was a couple years ago for sure. Wonder if there's a car show somewhere today??

My diaper from Russ fit perfect. 6 years and 600 passes still fine.

I got one three years ago, still looks like new, Russ called me several times to get measurements so it would fit right. I have the center link going through the oil pan. Great service.

How do they handle header heat? Usually any material exposed to heat for an extended period of time seems to change states. Do they stay soft if that makes sense? I have used several heat wraps and they all get hard and brittle over time. Maybe Doug can give us the longest duration test result.

Also, would it last on the street? I assume Dragweekers and the like are using them?

I probably wouldn't be the right person for the longevity answers but what I can tell you is Russ will put the heat resistant material wherever you would like on the diaper if you notice in the pic above the passenger side of the pan is three-quarters of the way covered with heat resistant material
