I have searched and gotten mixed results online.
I would like to add a tach to my steering column on my 69 Bee. 383/ 4 speed. Using stock coil and ballast resistor.
Some say it won't work properly with Pertronix and others say that theirs functions normally. I am hesitant to just buy a tach and try it as I am not an electronic wiz.
What say you guys? Is there a certain tach I can buy that we know will work properly? I appreciate any help you guys can give. Thank you.

Have you asked Pertronix? They are pretty responsive to questions, at least for me they have. Above is the best way to go but I always thought that the stock dash tach's were the one's bothered by Pertronix. Ron

Thank you for the responses. I have read a bunch, including the Pertronix instruction sheet and like I said, the experiences have varied. No, I haven't called them and that is a great idea. Thank you!
