Would welcome pics of your door jamb switches, preferably showing the size wrench that fits it, and some info about the vehicle. I am in a bit of an argument with Rock Auto over some switches they are advertizing and I bought. Their listing is advertizing as fitting, but actually does not fit, a 75 Sport, so they claim someone either altered the vehicle or it's a one-off. But the original switches from the Sport take a 9/16" wrench to remove. The ones they are selling use a 7/16" wrench, and the threads are about 1/8" smaller than the originals. I have removed many of these switches from other year A bodies and they are all the same size - 9/16". But with Mopar I've learned to never say never. I have seen this size switches on an E body but not an A body.

Hex head sizes for the three 1970 A, B & C bodies I have here;

A - 9/16"

B - 9/16" in the front doors & 7/16" for the rear doors.

C - 7/16" in the front doors & 7/16" for the rear doors.

(The B & C both have the A01 - Light package)

I have quite a few NOS and used door switches. Send me some photos of the type you are looking for and I will see if I can help out. Joe 517-243-7115 or jsawyer@wowway.com

I'm trying to get Rock Auto to fix their listing so others don't go thru this nonsense...
