Haven't seen a convertible without it. Anybody have the official word?

no, the A01 "light package" was not STANDARD on convertibles …..
but since there was no dome light an under-dash light "similar to"/or "same as" the MAP light was installed

what year and model are "WE" talking about? Your '70 Satellite?

My 69 RR Conv had the trunk light wiring included in the harness and it was a very low option car.

The trunk light wiring is in the main harness. If the car got the light package, the trunk light wire and socket would have just had to be plugged into the main body harness and the switch installed on that metal tab.

inherited a 69 roadrunner from my grand pop.
