My dad is looking to have his engine rebuilt. It’s a 1970 383. He wants to keep it all stock. And if possible to not have the engine bored then to not. Was wondering if anyone knew of any good shops for mopar engines. I had heard about a place out in either Bakersfield or Fresno area but I don’t remember. I’m open to any suggestions preferable Southern California and central California as I am located in Los Angeles. Thank you

If anyone says they can rebuild your 383 at standard bore before it is disassembled and the bores measured then they are lying and you should walk away. Actually run away would be more appropriate.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Lil drive for you (what isn’t out there) but I’d definitely give IMM a shout. They have a dyno in house and could run it in for you if you want.
