I am working on a tube chassis car and need the oil filter spun to beside the block, or do a remote. I found this and thought others might be able to use it too. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-6880-a50

Interesting, is it the same thread as Mopar block?
Have you actually used it yet?

I bolted it up to my mock up 5.7 block in the car last night. It will be a while until it sees pressure on my 6.1 alum block.

Yes, 3/4-16 threads. Guys have been using them on some Jeeps and other vehicles for clearance purposes when modifications are done. V8 swaps, etc...

The same way an oil filter does. It has a seal, like an O-ring. It has a long threaded nut that that goes through the housing and screws on the same threads the oil filter does…
