I bolted it up to my mock up 5.7 block in the car last night. It will be a while until it sees pressure on my 6.1 alum block.

Interesting, is it the same thread as Mopar block? Yes, 3/4-16 threads. Guys have been using them on some Jeeps and other vehicles for clearance purposes when modifications are done. V8 swaps, etc...

So how does that seal to the block? The same way an oil filter does. It has a seal, like an O-ring. It has a long threaded nut that that goes through the housing and screws on the same threads the oil filter does…
