Jacob Machowsky has been a hot rodder since the beginning. He has owned several types of hot rods over the years. Originally, a Kern County native, Machowsky would frequent the various meets in his area. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube, uploaded by Daniel “Surf City Dano” Patten, a resident of Huntington Beach, CA, Machowsky decided to move his family down to the City of Huntington Beach to be part of their hot rodding scene. He later became part of the Surf City Classics Car Club, run by Brian “Big Perm” Almas. The club has been meeting every Wednesday evening across the street from Papa Z’s restaurant in Fountain Valley, just after 6PM. Also, Machowsky is one of the promoters of the annual Huntington Beach Toy Drive and Car Show, held every December.
