Installing the tremac in the hellcat conversion. Silver sport sent us four .250 spacers for the hydraulic clutch setup. We took the two dimensions from the QuickTime bellhousing to the clutch fingers. Then from the trans face to compressed t.o bearing face and using all of the four provided spacers we are at a cushion dimension of .440. Specs from SSport want .125 to .375. They seem to know these conversion well and I’m surprised they didn’t sent the right amount of spacers... Does this sound right??

I had to buy an extra spacer.

Make sure you dial the bellhousing. They told me specifically not to, then a year later [after installed and running] that it was important. It's a hell of a lot harder to do in the car. flame

Otherwise SST has been good

Thank you for the input. I was hoping we were not off base with our measurements but triple checked them. Just surprised they did not provide the right amount as they provided the whole kit..

Yes we dialed it in and its within .005 all the way around. So hopefully were good.
Thanks again for the info.

Just got of the phone with them. They seemed surprised I needed another but they are sending another 1/4 spacer.. There is not much room left on the pin so I hope everything still works ok..

I agree.

That said, I do feel like I have a pretty short stroke on the clutch for it to engage/disengage. I don't believe the shim plays into that, but something to keep in mind.

It operates just fine, 3,700mi on it so far.
