Found an NOS bigblock wire set, not I noticed some plug ends are 45deg angled, some are 90deg angled. Anyone know which ones go where?

Thanks

Geez, don't know. Maybe look for some pictures of factory restored engines online? You could probably narrow it down by the length of the wires too. I mean, a 1" long wire, regardless of plug end, doesn't go to cylinder #7. Sorry I'm not more help.

You determine where they go by the length of the wires

#7 is the longest

#2 the shortest

you work your way from there

it probably depends on which year engine and body model the wire set is for work scope up

If my memory is correct (and maybe not) all 67 and later with HP manifolds had 90* boots.

If they are the orange ones from the 70s pretty sure #7 and 8 are 45, they were on the 2 of the 4 rear plugs on late 440. The problem with those wires is they were a little longer than stock so may need to use your judgement a little, at least mine were, date coded 1979.
