You would think there would be a breaking point in a parts book when this part was changed but not likely with Chrysler. There also would be paper work sent to the plant of assembly but that was 50 years ago. The place were I worked in Automotive Production this process is called a PRN that tells of the change with process and part for the line worker. This creates a Breaking Point and that engine would of been written down with various information from it such as VON, SEQ, FON, VIN, plant, shift, time if that information was generate in the plant of change. Sometimes none of this stuff would of made a breaking point because it was an out of Assembly Plant change and the motor plant would of taken care of the change and might of not generated a breaking point parts book change.
