You have my vote of confidence.

I don't think he's was Hemi specialist.. I know they won engine masters with a small block Chevy.. and Cab you are correct we do not race dyno's. But at times they can be a valuable tool... Joe Sherman passed away in the middle of this build. Joe's brother and Son Steve completed the build.. and and the Rumor Mill around the new combination has my attention..

I don't see a problem, even against the lite weight Duece. No Joe was not a Him guy, his claim to fame was the "invention/pioneer" of the SBC 383" stroker.

The only reason I made the comment about Joe was years ago one of my customers brought me a set of OEM iron Hemi heads that he had Joe do for one of his SS Hemi motor, he said they where ready to bolt on, NOT SO I put a set of checking valve springs on #1 valves and proceeded to try and degree the cam and check piston to valve clearances, I ended up having both valves hit in the over lap at TDC bending them tiny stems I sent them to the shop I use in Orange County, Hollins Auto Machine and they fixed them up I'm not trying to give a man grieve or complain about him after he is dead

Thanks guys I'm calling Mopar for the win.. I will try to keep everybody in the loop.. Steve Sherman has a huge following and is a big trash talker. Would love to put the parachute in his face.. I don't know what his late father, "Big Joe", was like in person. What I saw of his posts on places like SpeedTalk, he came across as a bit(?) abrasive and not exactly open to anyone's ideas but his own. Oh, I hope you cut Steve's nutz off... especially if he still has "Mopar Killer" on his front air dam.

Make part of the s-talk when he looses That sticker has to come off his car How can we get some action?? Any of his followers willing to put up some cashish I'm sure the money will be waving in the background there's always plenty of that going on.. unfortunately being a Mopar we are seriously outnumbered..

The Shermans are good people. I know first hand. Steve likes a good close race. I like the program he runs. It's very hard as a promoter to get these off the ground out this way, with a good payout. I have always joked of the "Sand Bagging" races with Steve. lol But I think he dose his best to put something close together. I always rib Steve that he need to come up to the darts race weight. I'm Rooting for the DART for the WIN.... Shiloh.. You make us proud, hitting on those heavy hitters !!!!! You can say that you hang with some of the best... Proud of you man. Keep up the good work, and Chasin Racin..

The date is November 3rd in Barona. Bob I appreciate your encouragement It has been a fun trip. We keep pushing the envelope. we just made another big swing at the motor. And hoping it pays off.. I'm thinking if we get it in some good air this year we will be in the 8.30 range..we are just trying to keep a mopar out in front of the crowd..
