With the Nickle content in the BGE the side loading of a 1.44 rod ratio doesn't affect the block like it does some other makes, granted you still have the drag aspect.
Those 454's can be a monster and with the Edlebrock heads I think you can crack in to the high5's
But I'd wait till after Dec
The E-heads I have flow north of 370 at .650...With 450 cubes, I would think this thing would fly. I have to get them CC'd to figure out compression ratio. Working on a quote thru Hughes at the moment.
For cam, I am thinking right around 265 or so duration, not sure yet, but the more cubes the better. My car is not setup for high rpm, more of a lower rpm bracket type car. Curious where you bracket guys shift these things. I shift the 512 at only 6300-6400 and it typically goes 6.20 at 111mph with a 1.35 60ft.
So what happens in Dec? I would love to see one of these approach 500 cubes, that would be outrageous, and right up my alley. I am looking to do somthing different this year....
