I have read on some other websites that the 1/4 glass from a Cuda hardtop is different than the convertible. I have both setups and the glass is identical in shape and arc. I know the regulators have a notch in the teeth for the convertibles, and there is a slight variation from 70-71 in the cast aluminum bracket that holds the glass as well as the stainless channel that holds the weatherstrip.Anyone have any info please school me.

Ebody door glass is also different between convert and HT.
the top front edge where it meets the top has a hard edge on convert and a HT is curved in that area.

cuda and challenger converts use the same glass both door and 1/4.

perception is 90% of reality

Thanks for the info but I am still not sure, I have put the 1/4 glass for the hdtp and vert on top of one and other and they are identical.

Here's the e-body (Challenger) quarter glass I have. Convertible on left and hardtop on right.

There should be 3 different quarter windows not counting tinted and non tinted (that would make 6)

Challenger HDT
Barracuda HDT

I know there is a difference between the Cuda and Challenger, my question was is the Cuda convertible and Cuda hardtop glass the same. I have one of each and they look identical.

Interesting. Looking at the Cuda roofline above the quarter window, it seems that the hardtop quarter glass would have the same cut as the Challenger/Cuda convertible quarter glass I posted in a photo of above. That would make it easier to find the convertible quarter glass for either e-body when needed.

To confirm just look up the NAGS#s, I'm at work so I don't have access right now

IIRC the verts glass (B/J 27) is the same as B23 (hardtop) but the frame is (27) convertible only

Found this old thread in which 71vert340 posted showing among other things the webbing being a telltale difference in htp and conv.
