I bought new transmission cooler lines for my 04 Dakota and have been trying to install them today. I just cannot get them in, at least the first one I tried that is. No matter how I try to snake it in from the front (or from the back) I cannot get it in. Apparently something underneath the front of the truck is going to have to be taken off or maybe I need to undo the passenger side motor mount and raise the engine. I would just like to know if anyone else has changed their trans. cooler lines and if so, did you have any trouble and what did you have to do to get them in?

I’ve probably put some in along the way. Each job like that presents its own challenges. 4x4 may need the front axle dropped.
