I found on the Hamtramck Historical there is found miscellaneous information for my GTX's VIN on there for 1978-1992. So, hopefully I can see what he has! I appreciate all he does for everyone, and he seems like a wealth of information. Emails piled up here during the Carlisle show, I got to yours after work today. Your car was in Philly in 1985. Karl, You might want to see if there are any source for magazines like Auto Trader in the Philly area around that time frame M

Not many people that bought an old Mopar new kept any dealer information paper work from the past and never passed any Dealer information on to the next owner. In the past many Window sticks were reprinted and I generally just look at the window sticker to read the options and to see what location the Vehicle was sold in. A lot of people can not read a broadcast sheet or fender tag so a Window Sticker is just a quick read of options. Looking for the original Dealership or owner has brought another person from your family into the Hobby and it is nice to see someone that is under 45 years old enjoying our old iron. My son is that person in my house. He learned to drive stick in my 1971 Hemi Challenger Drag Car and now has his own cars a Viper, SRT4 Neon and two first Gen Neons Srt 2.4 swaps. One of the swaps is a race car. Keep looking for the Dealership, you might find passed owners that might have parts or paper work from the car and interesting stories of their adventures owning the X.

Thank you, hemicar1971! I will be continuing my search for the original dealership. We got in contact with the 1970 GTX Registry owner. He had stickers for cars that were made within three weeks before and after my car. One went to Pennsylvania and another went to Minnesota. It unfortunately does not narrow it down as it could have been ordered from any midwestern and southern states. My kid has enjoyed searching through older newspapers online for ads, though. It's nice to share the excitement with her.
