1962 Dodge Dart Model 440

Beautiful rust free car with original cowl, floor pans and sheet metal. This car was built back 2000 and has been freshened since. The motor has 4 passes on it and maybe 50 street miles, the car is registered and titled in my name. The paint is still very presentable with normal wear for it's age. The windows are fully functional and it has a full finished black interior with headliner. There are 2 race buckets installed with custom TIG welded aluminum brackets and no back seat. The factory dash and steering wheel are installed, with a Tach, oil pressure gauge, temp gauge and ammeter (currently not connected).

Motor made 771HP@6700 and 671TQ@5300, best pass so far has been 9.82@137mph and runs consistently in the 9.90 range.

Titled, registered 73 Challenger body. Jerry Bickel full chromoly tube chassis, certed to 7.50. 572 Indy Head Hemi, dynoed 860HP on pump gas. Bickel/Mark Williams 9 Inch rear, 4 link ,etc. Fully built 727, converter, trans brake, etc. All steel except hood, trunk, bumpers. Too much to list. Fresh show quality Panther Pink paint. Everything is literally brand new, top quality have reciepts and paperwork. Car is running and driving, has FOUR miles on it. I planned to street drive it so it has lights, alternator, etc. I am an electrical engineer and hand wired the whole harness with all sealed Weathepack connectors etc. Needs some debug, setup, and finishing such as windows, trim, interior, exhaust. Have all parts included to finish. I have too many other projects, am getting older and less interested in going fast and more interested in just cruising. Between previous owner and myself there is probably $125K or more in this thing, not to mention many hours of free labor. I have a million pics and videos of car running and driving. Asking $65K, am open to offers and am open to full or partial or even upward trades for completed cars or trucks - last thing I need is another project - and may even "give it away" in exchange for the right car or cars(things that would interest me include stock-ish 68-70 B body, 70-71 E Body, classic Mopar convertibles, newer Hemi cars or trucks, Vipers, classic wagons, classic trucks, if its a Mopar cannot hurt to ask!) so if this thing interests you contact me.

Both of my Dusters are for sale.

1. Ed Hamburger's own SS/IA car, significant history; currently a low-10s bracket car, still has its original tricks. 368" R1, alum. Batten W2s, roller, coated Stahl headers, fresh CRT 904, 6000-stall Lupo, fresh 5.38 Dana, Flys or SuperTricks, all quality parts, clever fab work, very clean in/out, and the only one there is, $30,000.

2. '72 with Indy-head 512, hyd roller, TTI, Milodon. Built 727. Fresh everything: brakes, suspension, steering, 3.55 SG. Very nice interior, trunk, underhood. Never rusty. Subframe ties, NHRA-legal battery/switch/divider/loop/studs. Original paint (some patina) & original panels except 'glass hood, good glass & chrome, nice details, mostly new interior. All quality parts, well done, fast sleeper street car, $20K OBO.

Happy to send info & photos to serious people.

Potential Race Car:

71 Plymouth Duster, $18k obo....Its got to go.

Really nice 71 Plymouth Duster. Original slant 6 car, now has a 318 with 340 heads and a four barrel with a fresh 727 with a shift kit. Has black interior with bench seats and after market shifter. Car has 15" wheels and tires with drum brakes all around. Really nice driver that is mostly stock. Gauges all work, interior is real nice and needs the dome light re-installed after the new head liner was put in. Seats were recovered. Floor is rust free and painted everywhere. Engine bay was repainted recently as well. This is one of the nicest cleanest cars I have ever owned. Floor boards and truck floors are in mint shape.

Aftermarket items: Drive shaft loop, leafs moved in, line lock, air shocks and slapper bars, fuel cell, Weld wheels, battery in trunk with shut off switch, Mopar valve covers...and fiberglass scoop.

Paint was just redone and finished this week, and there is a new hood scoop on it. Has a little over spray on the exhaust tips and such, but looks really good now. Not a full re-paint of the whole car, but a lot more than I thought it was going to be.

More pictures available upon request. P# or Text...... 716 - 8, three, 0 - one, 2, 5, 8

$34,000
Sassy Grass green 1972 Duster(71 taillights), mild pump gas 500" low deck(400) with 10:1 compression, CNC max wedge ports in the Edelbrock aluminum heads, Indy intake, has main stud girdle, Eagle forged crank and rods, JE forged flat top pistons, high volume aluminum mechanical water pump, MP 557 lift solid flat tappet cam with Harland Sharp 1.5 roller rockers, Pro-Systems 950 4150 carb custom built for car and always runs perfect. 1.75" full length headers. Pertronix IgnitorIII bilet distributor with rev limiter. Aluminum radiator.
Polished Aeromotive hot rod electric fuel pump, Holley return style regulator, all fuel lines are black nylon braided with black 'an' fittings.

727 trans with Turbo Action reverse manual valve body, 9.5" Dynamic converter, very streetable, tranny cooler with black braided lines with the teflon inside them.

8.75 rearend with Yukon nodular iron center section and nodular iron caps, Moser spool and Moser 35 spline axles, 1350 yoke, aftermarket driveshaft. Has 3.23 gears in it, perfect for street, highway, and occasional blast down a track.

3" H-pipe exhaust with DMH electric cutouts, Jones stainless straight-through mufflers, tailpipes with stainless tips.

Stock front and rear suspension, one new leaf added to each leaf spring to strengthen front segment, Rancho adjustable rear shocks.

4 wheel disc brakes, fronts are made by Strange-Engineering, rears are a kit from Right Stuff Detailing.

Interior has new headliner, new sport seats, new camlock drivers seat harness good for 2 years, custom gauge cluster, 6-point roll bar with removable back seat bar, done by Chassisfab Performance in Tallmadge Ohio. B&M pro-ratchet shifter and custom console, Raptor shift light, Grant Tuff-wheel steering wheel.

Every wire in the car is new, all new brake lines, runs on 93 octane, never runs hot, it was built to hop in and drive all day.

I drove it to the track an hour away, ran some 10.70's at 124 with a best of 10.69.

60 foot was a 1.51 just footbraking at 2000 RPM's, shift at 5800.

Wheels are Centerline Qualifiers that you can't even buy anymore, 15x8 rear with a Nitto 275/60/15 drag radials. Fronts are 15x4 with M/T radials.

I also have a spare set of rear Weld wheels with M/T 275 Pro tires.

Bumpers are re-chromed, all steel car with factory glass windows.

Clear title in my name, car was completed about 4 years ago, mainly just driven to local car shows on nice days, does not have wipers but a little rain-x on the windshield worked perfect when I got caught in rain one time coming home.

Possible trade for the right Mopar, prefer 67-69 Darts and Cuda's, Dusters.

Only reason for selling is that I get bored every few years and I always enjoy building the next one. Car is ready, needs nothing, tires and brakes are all new. I had 500 callouts on the rear quarter panel, I switched them to 440 to give it a slightly more stock appearing look. Car has factory wheel tubs.
