I currently have a Ron Davis Scirocco radiator setup which has served me well with my NA engines. This older radiator seems to be rather small with a core that is only maybe 1 1/4" thick. I'm going to a forced induction setup and thought a little better radiator would be helpful. Which of the common Scirocco radiators would be best: Griffin, AFCO, Ron Davis, Champion, or some other I can't think of at the moment. It needs to be a Scirocco style because I have the shroud, fan, mount, and overflow can etc. Which would help me the most?? Thanks, Max

I was sure with all the hi horsepower cars out there that someone would have some experience with different Scirocco style radiators. Any inputs????

I have used a couple afco's they seem to have the most options for the more economical prices.

I would shy away from the Scirocco style radiators. After 2-3 years of hard use they start spreading the plastic tanks apart.

The AFCO's and others are all aluminum...I agree though I wouldn't run a plastic tanked radiator in a drag car.

I'm definitely not asking about a real Scirocco radiator, I have one of those that was put away on a shelf more than 15 years ago. I'm asking about a Scirocco style racing radiator such as Forest has in the picture. I'm really asking what brand is most favored by those that need such a radiator?? Forest, what brand is that I can't really make out the name. Thanks, Max

Forest, what is the part number for your AFCO radiator? I can't find a picture of one that is like yours. Thanks, Max

they have a few different configurations, I changed this one from a upper hose to dual -12's for the upper and added the Meziere plate for the radiator mounted water pump..
