I get the work feelings totally.

Please give us feed back on that intake when you can. I need to fire up with what I have, but there may be one of those in my future.

They would sell 3 times as many at $400 but then they only make $1200 so they make more money not having to make/sell/ship near as many. An affordable intake is one of the big things we are lacking but only for carbs as the factory 6.1 6.4 and 5.7 eagle are all really good intakes for EFI and can be had cheap.

Yes, that is really the only thing lacking in G3 hemi cost control: a more affordable intake(s).

For a "race" application the Arrow shorter single plane at $630 seems like a good compromise.

Add into take 10-20 hours of your life porting it or paying someone

Pittsburghracer, yes it costs that much. Is it worth it?? IDK yet

Yes sir, I figured I’d be making aluminum dust if I go with that intake. But I have a nice 6bbl hood that I want to keep on this heap. It will a street strip deal, so while I’d like to have the baddest carb intake it’s going to have to be a compromise.

If I ran Mopar, which I don't, I'd rather have 3x as many intakes out there sporting my brand name. Considering intakes are likely keeping some out of the G3 market, they are only stifling sales elsewhere. Chevy sells a lot of stuff because they make a lot of stuff, and their prices have pulled more than a few Mopar fans to the dark side.

That intake looks awesome, one day I'll get my hands on one for sure.
