Does anyone know where I can find all the specs on an R3 block I just bought? It is part number P4332908.

That doesn't really sound right....

Do you really mean casting number P4532908?

(continued).....if it is really a P4532908 casting number, then you've got what started out as a 9.200 water block with 340 mains.

Lifter bore angle was generic/enough material cast into it to be machined either way.

It would normally have been machined into either P4876672
or P4876792 Marketing/MP catalog numbers. Those can be Googled pretty easily or start checking MP catalogs. No idea if they even make these anymore but I am guessing probably not...

Oh OK, well there you go, hope that helps.

I'm not directly involved with that stuff anymore having moved on in 2013 but have posted on that casting number before, so the info was floating out there in cyberspace.

Good luck with it!

It has 792 stamped on the front of the block, so I'm thinking it must be a P4876792 block.

Was that the one on racingjunk? There’s another one of those for sale to the west of me in Cal. I’d like to stumble onto another P4876671. Same deal as yours, but Siamese.

I hope it’s not a 9.200 deck block with the wrong lifter bores in it the cams are hard to come by and very expensive

No, this one was not on racing junk. It has 59 degree lifter bore. A cam will not be a problem.

There might be 340 replacement block coming out of mothballs to be sold soon. Priorities/thinning the hoard kind of a deal.
